The wall

Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah

Here in Europe, this week is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the destruction of the wall of Berlin in Germany that had separated families, dividing one city in two words, called the wall of the shame (the following link gives all the details : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berlin_Wall)

Every body agreed that IT WOULD BE no more wall of the shame, it would be a lesson for Humanity.
And guess what? Today, for this celebration nobody here talks about the wall of Palestine, where the Israeli government can do whatever they want in the name of their protection!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_West_Bank_barrier

I am not talking about the Jewish people, as ‘ahlul kitab’ (people of the holly book), they are our brothers, and many of them are ashamed about the Israeli decisions.
What I want to point out is the difference made between the peoples.
Even if the Human Rights Bill says that all Humans are equal, it seems that some of them are ‘more equal than others”, as has said a famous French humorist called Coluche.
Your rights depend on how much oil is contended in your land, on your religion, or on your power on the international scene.
Unfortunately, in Palestine there is no oil, a majority of Muslims, not able to get agree inside their own territories, so how could they be able to have any power in the international decisions?

So the Palestinians are the forgotten people, and nobody cares about them, even within the Muslim world. When I see the very rich Muslims, in general in the Gulf, spending so much money on parties, luxury cars, private planes and so many other stupid purchases, I get sick and I pray The Almighty to give us the strength to be a powerful Umma, respected and able to act.

Ya Allah, inaka ‘ala kulichain kadir

Fi amanillah
Imane
