Forgiveness :Salatu TASBIH

Assalamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah

Mohammed (Sallallaho Alihiwassallam) thought us the way to be forgotten
Allah will forgive your sins: of the future and of the past; new and old; those you have forgotten and those you did knowingly; big and small; hidden and revealed”It’s Salatu Tasbih, that can be performed

once a day, if you can not pray once a day then every Friday, and even if this is not possible then once a month and even if this is not possible then once a year and even if this is not possible then at least once in a lifetime “(Abu’Dawood & Tirimzi).

Tasbih is reciting
" Subhaan Allahi Wal Hamdulillahi Wa Laa ilaha illal Laahu Wallahu Akbar "

You must perform four cycles(2/2) of ritual prayer [raka'at], reciting in each cycle the Opening Sura of the Book [Fatihat al-Kitab] and one other Sura.
When you have finished the Qur'anic recitation in the first cycle [rak'a], and while you are still standing erect, you must say-fifteen times:
Glory be to Allah,subhana 'llahi
and praise be to Allah,wa 'l-hamdu li'llahi
and there is no god but Allah,wa la ilaha illa 'llahu
and Allah is Supremely Great!wa 'llahu Akbar
.
Then you must perform the act of bowing, pronouncing it [the same affirmation] ten times while you are in the posture of bowing [raki'].
Then you must raise your head from the act of bowing [rak'a], and pronounce it ten times.
Then you must perform the act of prostration, and pronounce it ten times.
Then you must raise your head from the posture of prostration [sujud], and pronounce it ten times.
Then you must perform the [second] act of prostration, and pronounce it ten times.
Then you must raise your head from the posture of prostration [sujud], and pronounce it ten times.
That all adds up to a total of seventy-five in each cycle [rak'a]. You must do the same in all four cycles [raka'at].http://www.al-baz.com/shaikhabdalqadir/Books_and_Text_of_Wisdom/Special_Prayers/Salat_at-Tasbih/salat_at-tasbih.html

Preparing for Ramadan

As-Salamou 'Alaykoum wa rahmatoullahi wa barakatouhou

The Holy month of Ramadan is coming alhamadoulillah.
What can we do to receive it properly to take advantage of its benefits?

Dr. Sano Koutoub Moustapha, Professor of Jurisprudence and its Principles at the International Islamic University, Malaysia, states the following:
"Let us keep praying Almighty Allah to bless us in the month of Sha`ban and give us the chance to fast the month of Ramadan.
For better preparation for the holy month of Ramadan, I propose the following:

1. Keep praying daily that Allah gives us the chance and grants us good health that will enable us to fast the holy month.

2. Start repenting and seeking the forgiveness of the Almighty for all our wrongdoings before Ramadan.

3. Seek the strength from Allah to fast in the way that He likes and wants.

4. Seek forgiveness from all members of your family, workmates, neighbors, and relatives for any wrongdoing against them.

5. Refrain from backbiting, slandering, and unlawful mixing with people.

6. Clean your heart and soul from envy, jealousy, hypocrisy, arrogance, and all heart diseases.

7. Seek the blessings of your parents, if they are alive, and their forgiveness for your shortcomings towards them.

8. Increase your du`aa' and commitment to your daily duties and obligations.

Back from vacation

As-Salamou 'Alaykoum wa rahmatoullahi wa barakatouhou

Al hamdoulillah, we are back from Morocco.

Sobhanallah, I feel always the same mixed feelings: on one hand, I am glad to find my home, to see all the French green gardens, everything is clean and quite whereas in Morocco, no comment…

But on the other hand, I miss the adhan, the hijabee girls, the hallal food (we can eat everything without wondering if any component can be haram or not).

What really makes me sad is that even among the ‘educated’ people nobody really seems to pay attention to the environment! Buildings everywhere, destruction of the gardens and trees, so many cars taken in so many traffic jams, so many contamination in the cities (even more than Paris!), wheareas we are in a Muslim country, supposed to understand and teach all the good manners...

People forget that the Earth is a gift from Allah, 'rahma', and that we have to take care of it for the next generations, we will be asked of what we have done…

May Allah forgive us and open the eyes of all the Humans, to protect our beautiful Earth, before the point of no return.
