Assalamu ‘laykum ua rahmatullahi ua barakatuhu
A few days ago, I read a post on Malizea’s blog about a sister that had left Islam. She didn’t give the name, so I thought it was a friend of her. But surfing from blog to blog a lot has been written about her and it was a ‘famous’ sister of the Muslim blogosphere: Kimdonesia.
I have already read some post on her blog, thanks to links made on others sisters ‘one.
She wasn’t on my blog list because for me it was just a teenager diary.
Concerning the fact that she left Islam two words are present in a large number of comments: ‘SAD’ and ‘SHOCKED’.
I’ve watched the video on which she explains her reasons, and honestly teenager reasons (her dog died…)
I wouldn’t use the words SAD or SHOCKED: I am SAD to see that girls can’t go to school with their hijab, denying their right to choose and I was SHOCKED to see last week on TV Tariq Ramadan treated as a liar, narrow minded and manipulator.
Kimdonesia has decided to leave Islam, it’s her OWN choice, we must respect it and that’s it.

Seeking ‘lm is very important and alhamdullillah there are brothers and sisters whose blogs are very helpful and with a very high level.
How can we compare a teenager diary to the quality of some wonderful blogs such as our brother Daud Khan one’s http://wwwislamgurea.blogspot.com/ (an amazing source of ‘ilm) or the deepness of almeeskinah’s blog http://almiskeenah.com/ (beautiful pictures of the Holy places with wonderful comments that often make me cry)?
How can we compare someone who has left Islam because of the death of her dog to the engagement of very strong sisters such as Nida http://theidealmuslimah.blogspot.com/ who saw members of her family killed in Bosnia, or Habayeb http://awakenedbytruth.blogspot.com/ who is always trying to help the others?
She has left Islam freely, may be she’ll return, this is between her and The Almighty.

Asalam'alykoum Imane I think it is normal to feel sad for someone who left islam even if this persone is your pire ennemie!! but you are right many other things are more important than that, I never really read her blog and reallyy don't know what it deals about, but I was just sadden by the situation and started thinking about all the people who are leaving islam because we are not able to transmit the real message of islam ( islam is not only hijab and eating halal nor a fashion you know what i mean) and grrrr the first blog you mention is in spanish I am bad at it!! and oo don't worry about tariq even the prophet has been called a liar tariq is strong and mashallah whatever the media says is message of darwa is passing!!

ReplyDeleteI know by reading your blog that you have a very BIG heart, you are very sincere, and you are very concerned about the Ummah issues.
What made me react it's all the comments made around this girl : of course she was nice, pretty hijabee, a great sense of humour, but what did you learn with her? To have good time? To wear hijab in a trendy 'cute' way?
Of course no Muslim can be happy to see his fellow leaving Islam, but I don't think we are fully responsible : for this girl, she didn't give any sign that she didn't feel well in Islam.
What we can do is to pray and learn to strenghten our faith, and The Almighty will do the rest
Take davantage of this Holy month dear Malizea, let's make a lot of duaa: May Allah never forget us, let's be united and be strong because dunia is very dangerous

ReplyDeletemy dear sisters malizea and imane you both are very strong and have good blogs and nice comments at kimdonesia but according to islam as i know from quran and hadeed of holy prophet mohammad (s.a.w),they order that whenever a person enter to islam and then leave islam so quran says that kill him or her, cause the other day every other one of you will leave your deen and islam for your wishes and ambitions and every one will sacrifice islam just for his one or two hopes and desires
